Taking Your Pet Overseas

Australia has very strict quarantine laws affecting entry of animals into the country.  For this reason it is often not recommended to travel with your pet for short periods.
Moving overseas with a pet involves paperwork before travelling, with specific requirement s for different countries.  Pets may require vaccinations such as rabies and a health check performed by an AQIS approved veterinarian (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service)
Sale and Maffra Veterinary Centres have the only local veterinarians with AQIS accreditation.
